I took this photo in the eastern Sierras, off Highway 395, at the Owens Gorge Road. I love those mailboxes and every time we travel to the Sierras, we drive by them just to see them!

"F" is for fence~ABC Wednesday 022410

I love to see fences, as hubby and I go about in our travels. I will always pull over and stop and take a photo of one! We found these near South Lake Tahoe, last summer. The forest service was completing a controlled burn nearby and we stopped to look at the smoke and I spied these fences. Don't you just love the look of a good, hand crafted log fence? ABC Wednesday for February 24, 2010.

Nice fences! I doubt I can find something similar here in my town.

Those are awesome. Love the zig zag in the middle of nowhere.

Those are rather wonderful fences! I've seen them built that way in the US and I've often wondered, why the zig-zag? Does it make them stronger?

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)

Love the angles and textures that you captured. So. Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite places.

I've played with my daughter's Lincoln logs and I swear a suggested design looks like the picture!
