While driving home from school last week, I went a different route and found this field watering its grapes. I could actually hear the water bubbling up through the irrigation lock. It was the only noise in the field. It was absolutely quiet out there except for the bumping and gurgling of the water~ How peaceful~ For other watery photos, please visit: http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

Nice photo of water in the grape fields.
You have a good ear and eye to catch this scene! I hope we get some rain in the next few days! Enjoy the day.
Never seen a view like that, wonderful gnarled vines! And your description was perfect with it - great WW post!
That looks really interesting. I would have loved to hear that gurgling sound. We used to have some vineyards out here but they're all housing now.

Very interesting post and photos. Thanks for sharing.
You have a scenic commute if you pass this by on the way to school.
Great eye.
Neat shot of the water and rows and rows of vines.
Hi, Great shot, Where in Ca. is this taken? or did I miss something. Thanks for sharing I will keep a look out for your blog in the future. I myself live in Ca. and have a couple of these. PEACE!!!
I had no idea this how they water grapes!
So, they fill the trench between the rows of plants? I didn't know that's how they watered a field. Very interesting!

Hi it's me again, you were asking where is La Grange, CA? I found a blogger who blogs from there. Here's the link: http://lakedonpedroblog.blogspot.com/
I also like the gnarled grape vines, and the whole idea of how to water them! I never knew that before.
Thanks for sharing!
