Header photo

I took this photo in the eastern Sierras, off Highway 395, at the Owens Gorge Road. I love those mailboxes and every time we travel to the Sierras, we drive by them just to see them!

Alabama Hills~This Way Thursday~110509

On a bright autumn morning, hubby and I hit the road from Ridgecrest to Lone Pine to take advantage of the early morning light. We were taking photos of the Sierras, then turned around and saw this dirt road going out toward the rocks of the Alabama Hills. This Way Thursday for November 5, 2009.

That is a cool looking dirt road, I would have to follow it just to see what's beyond.

I love your header. My TWTW post is at Through Squirrel Eyes

I wonder if the road goes around the rocks, through them, or just stops short when it gets there?

Thanks for playing! Come back next week too!
