Travels in my state, California, from a native Californian.

I took this photo in the eastern Sierras, off Highway 395, at the Owens Gorge Road. I love those mailboxes and every time we travel to the Sierras, we drive by them just to see them!

"C" is for California~ABC Wednesday 080409
"C" is for California, from her deserts to mustard fields, to her vineyards, mountains, deserts, and valleys. I LOVE California!~There is so much to see and do! ABC Wednesday for August 4, 2009.
Wonderful photos when enlarged. I especially liked the snow and mustard ones. Never thought about mustard growing like that. Thank you for the walk through your state.
California was my choice for ABC Wednesday too - Carmel, to be precise! It's a beautiful state - we have visited several times, and there's still more to see!
Beautiful photos! I love the one with the horse in front of the house. :)

I've loved horses all my life but didn't get my first one until our kids left us with an empty nest! Now hubby and I have 4 horses, 1 dog, 3 cats, and 4 adorable grandchildren. Oh, and two wonderful, grown children! Hubby and I enjoy taking care of our rescue horses and traveling and taking photos.

I guess I have to come and see for myself some day. The photos look really good in the mean time.
