I took this photo in the eastern Sierras, off Highway 395, at the Owens Gorge Road. I love those mailboxes and every time we travel to the Sierras, we drive by them just to see them!

Scenic Sunday Nov 23, 2008 Norman Vineyards, Paso Robles, CA

During our trip to Paso Robles two years ago, we stopped at Norman Vineyards. It was a lot of fun and the people there were very friendly! We tried some of their wines and brought some home. We love their "Monster Zin" and the Norman Conquest. I saw the shadow that this tree on their patio made and I liked the way it looked, so while everybody else was still enjoying sipping their wines, I slipped outside for a stroll around their tasting room.

I love this photo. The shadow of the tree is the most beautiful part of it. Great shot!

I like the shadow too. It kinda makes the tree seem ageless or eternal.

Dropping in to say "Hi" by the way of the Black Box where my choices brought me to your blogsite. I love Christopher Cross and your blogsite was playing that song! I also love the opportunity to see your gorgeous photos of CA. A place that I have not visited. I learned something new, too, as I found the Over 50 and Bloggin' logo and I will see if I can join. You have a great site! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
