I took this photo in the eastern Sierras, off Highway 395, at the Owens Gorge Road. I love those mailboxes and every time we travel to the Sierras, we drive by them just to see them!

"T" is for...ABC Wednesday 120209

trees! The cottonwoods in our local mountains have finally turned brilliant yellow. We discovered pockets of them this weekend while we were up visiting the horses. And, it wasn't every cottonwood. There seemed to be pockets of them. ABC Wednesday for December 2, 2009.

I love to see these brilliant yellow trees blazing away in autumn! We don't get many of them which turn a clear and uniform yellow here, so I appreciate them even more.

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)
