I found out the "grass" on this field was actually oats and that the bailed hay is all pre-sold. The gal who boards my horses said she tried to buy some of it, but, alas every bale is spoken for! She told me yesterday it is actually a good quality oat hay and much cheaper than the alfalfa she feeds the horses. Here is the hay loader, as it turned the corner. The gentleman was out VERY EARLY Sunday morning, bailing another portion of the acreage. Mellow Yellow for Monday, June 1, 2009. Enjoy your week!

Boy oh boy! Every single bale! This is such a heartwarming picture somehow. It reminds me of my childhood!
Yes, EVERY BALE! Presold!
Great picture, thanks for sharing. Here for Mellow Yellow and I love farm scenes.
Lovely farm view ... very mellow yellows ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Isn't it ridiculous how hard it is to get good hay? We're on the East Coast and the land is being developed to the point that people with horses are having to pay premiums to get good stuff. Makes for some upset tummies if they don't, and nobody wants to be walking a horse all night . . . oh yeah, great photo!
