I took this photo in the eastern Sierras, off Highway 395, at the Owens Gorge Road. I love those mailboxes and every time we travel to the Sierras, we drive by them just to see them!

Fall leaves in December, Watery Wednesday, Dec 31, 2008

We were all amazed to still see beautiful fall leaves on the trees in Northern California. Many of the trees still had their yellow, orange, and red leaves on them! Aren't the colors pretty even though they were in the water on the street? For other beautiful pics, please visit Watery Wednesday at http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/. Beautiful picture.

Those leaves would be buried under the snow here!

Nice shot! We've still got some of those beautiful colors down here too. I think Cali was a little late getting around to fall. :-D
Happy New Year!

Now that they've finished beautifying a tree they're doing the same for a lowly puddle. Nice catch.
