We recently traveled back to the Sierras over Memorial Day. Not all the roads back into the mountains were open, but when we got to Mammoth and ate lunch at The Stove, we decided to see if the road to Twin Lakes was open. It was open up until the cabins. You can see all the snow on the mountains and next to the lake. Some people said the roads should be open in 2-3 weeks, which would be mid-June. Twin Lakes is always such a beautiful area! I particularly like the third shot. The reflection of the mountains is wonderful.
The water is so clear it's like looking into the bottom of the lake through a clean window.
